Happy Monday!
So this weekend was a fun one. They held the annual Balloons Over Bend festival. A whole bunch of hot air balloons take off in the AM and float around town. Down at the Old Mill is where all the fun festivities are going on. They have a kiddies section with arts and crafts and all those jumpy things. We thought Journee was big enough now to jump around and enjoy them. And as you can see from the videos, enjoyed them is exactly what she did. She is so observant and all it took was watching all the bigger kids go through the obstacle course a couple times and she was a pro. In addition to all the vendors and live music, they had a sidewalk art contest. It was really awesome! Here are a couple pieces of the art at the beginning stages.

On Sunday, we took a family trip to Wally World and bought some flowers to plant since we are starting to get nicer weather. I thought Journee would love to help plant them....turns out, she loves to play with the soil more. We need to get that girl a sandbox. Anytime she sees even dirt, shes bottom down in it playing. Doesnt mind getting dirty AT ALL!

To top off all of the excitement, our neighbors found a puppy and we had the honors to babysit her while he went to work. Boy am I happy we havnt decided to get another puppy. Its like having a baby all over again. It took a little bit of time and alot of scratches later before Journee finally warmed up to her. By the end of the day, she was feeding the puppy out of her hand. I have to say, Journee is one tuff cookie. She can fall down stairs, dislocate elbows, and have puppies knock her on the ground and scratch her and she will get right back up and brush it off with no tears.

Well thats about it guys! I am going to try and get some family pictures up here so you all can see our beautiful faces too! Love you all! x0x0
P.S. Yes, I know Journee needs a haircut...and yes, I know you dont get to see her face very much, she likes to irritate me when I want to take pictures and turns her head right as the camera snaps.
