Well I dont even know where to begin! We had an enjoyable 10 day vacation mixed in with some stressfull times. Im sure everyone heard already but our first day there Journee had a febural seizure. It was prob. hands down the scariest encounter yet with her. It was caused because her fever rose so high so quickly it put her in a seizure state. I guess since she has had one she is likely to get them again when she has high fevers. They dont cause any brain damage or blindness like normal seizures do. So I guess we will do whatever we can to prevent fevers. ha, yah right! So that is how we spent our first day on vacation: In the lovely Lake Havasu City Hospital! After all of that was put behind us we spent lots and lots of time at the beach or in a pool or indoors. It was too hott for Journee to do anything else besides that. We were very lucky to have a short visit with Grandma and Uncle Rob.
Grandpa came down and rented a pontoon boat for the day. Whats going to LHC if you cant go out on the lake for a day. This is when we had our next bit of Drama. We stopped to get breakfast and Journee, Cyd and myself went in to the restaurant. I put Journee down to walk around and she immediately took off running, tripped over her flip flop and went head first into the leg of a chair. There was no nail or anything sharp coming out of it but the way she knocked it was just right to crack her forehead open. She prob. could have used a stitch or two but because of everything she went through at the hospital, we decided she would be OK without them. And it is healing just fine.

Ryan and I were able to spend lots of much needed time with friends, we got to hang with our cousin, karaoke, see Ari, go out away from our kid for a little bit, and got to eat at some of our fav. places! Now onto the pics, which I am sure is what everyone wants to see. I have a million pictures but that would take days to upload so here are some of my favs:

Going back to visit def. made me happy that Arizona is a place I go to visit. I am very thankful I am able to raise my child in a place where we can actually do things outside. If it is too hott in town we are only a short drive from the mountains. I will say though is was a bitter sweet goodbye leaving this time knowing the next time I go there to visit the only family left will be Cyd and I will not be staying at the house I grew up in. Its always hard to let go of those things. It looks like I will be moving my mom up here the end of October. Grandma and Grandpa are heading to New Jerey the end of September. With all of these things and more going on this year, I have decided to join school next fall. The timing seems like it will be much better and less stressfull. I will have moved my mom here already, and we will be moved into a new house. I am however, still going to take a math class prior to the dental assistant class to help my chances of getting in. Well I guess that is about it for now. Until next time x0x0
